I spent a week in early March (7-13) staying with friends, Jessie & Tim, in their house in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. I’ve been to LA a handful of times before, but it’s always involves Jessie & Tim, so I don’t really know LA disconnected from them. I’m certainly not complaining about this, I always have fun when I’m with them, and being in a city with someone who lives there provides a different experience than just visiting on your own.
We had some great meals, went to the movie theater to watch The Witch, and went to the Getty museum, which was my first time and it was quite nice. Another LA first for me (and Jessie) was going to Grand Central Market, which I really enjoyed, and would certainly revisit on subsequent trips.
